Surgical Method

STEP 01 | Double Chin Liposuction

Through a minimal incision under the chin, a cannula is used to thoroughly remove both the small superficial fat deposits and the larger deeper fat deposits.

STEP 02 | Excision of Sagging Platysma Muscle

Through the minimally incised area, the sagging platysma muscle (neck muscle) beneath the chin is incised.

STEP 03 | Muscle Contouring

The excised platysma muscles on both sides are brought together at the center and sutured.

When the submandibular salivary glands are large, they are repositioned upward toward the inner side of the jawbone to enhance double chin improvement.
