I previously had double eyelid surgery at a factory-style clinic, but it came undone in less than two years. As time went by, I kept becoming more conscious of my eyes, and I personally wanted to make the line a bit more defined, so I started looking into revision surgery.
After looking into several clinics, I made a consultation appointment because the director was so well known for eye revision surgery. During the consultation, he explained my eye condition and the surgical method in great detail, which gave me confidence. So right after the consultation, I scheduled the surgery date.
Even on the day of the surgery, he examined the design very carefully beforehand, and it honestly felt like the time spent on the design was almost the same as the surgery time itself. That made me feel that he was setting the line very cautiously, so I felt even more reassured before the surgery.

It has been exactly one month since my surgery on November 25!
I had consultations at a total of three places, and I decided to go with the director because he designed the line exactly the way I had envisioned, personally spent a lot of time consulting with me, and was so friendly and pleasant that I felt very comfortable with him. Also, an acquaintance of mine had a buried suture double eyelid procedure done by the director, and it turned out so well with almost no swelling at all, which made me trust him even more!
These are the photos before surgery. (For convenience, as shown in the photo) My right eye had a double eyelid due to a scar from having a stye lanced when I was younger, while my left eye did not, so my eyes were asymmetrical.
Before going in for the consultation, I was very worried about whether the line could be made the same if I only did the left side, but I was amazed that the director created it to match the right side so well! The director said it would probably be fine to do only the left side, but a few weeks after the consultation, I started getting occasional multiple folds in my right eye that would last for a few days, so since I was doing it anyway, I proceeded with the buried suture method on both sides!
I had sedation anesthesia, and I did not fall completely asleep, and the surgery was completed quickly and smoothly
These are the photos taken right after surgery. There was really much less swelling than I expected!
As the anesthesia wore off, the pain around my eyelids gradually increased, but after about two to three hours, it got better again.
The swelling really only lasted about 2 to 3 days, and rather, the small bruises appeared after a few days and seemed to last a bit longer.
Overall: In the consultation room, they were kind and friendly, and in the operating room, they were truly very professional. The swelling was unbelievably minimal, so everyone around me was surprised, and I returned to my normal routine starting the very next day. I wore regular glasses, and people really could not tell unless I said something ㅠㅠ It really felt like a one-day double eyelid surgery,,
Actually, I have not had many occasions to wear makeup lately, so I kept being unable to post a review,,

I previously had double eyelid surgery at a factory-style clinic, but it came undone in less than two years. As time went by, I kept becoming more conscious of my eyes, and I personally wanted to make the line a bit more defined, so I started looking into revision surgery.
After looking into several clinics, I made a consultation appointment because the director was so well known for eye revision surgery. During the consultation, he explained my eye condition and the surgical method in great detail, which gave me confidence. So right after the consultation, I scheduled the surgery date.
Even on the day of the surgery, he examined the design very carefully beforehand, and it honestly felt like the time spent on the design was almost the same as the surgery time itself. That made me feel that he was setting the line very cautiously, so I felt even more reassured before the surgery.
Also, there was none of that slightly awkward atmosphere you sometimes feel at factory-style clinics, and I personally really liked that as well. Overall, everything proceeded in a comfortable atmosphere, so I was able to undergo the surgery without feeling burdened.
As a result, I’m very satisfied now! I was told that with burial sutures, the swelling has almost gone down by this point, but since it has not even been a month yet, I’m even more excited to see how it settles over the next one or two months. I’ll come back and leave another review as I monitor the progress :)

+2First of all, as shown in the photo below, I had tear ducts that had not opened since birth and an inner corner of the eyes that felt blocked, and as I got older, my double eyelids gradually became more droopy, sunken, and loosened.

The only reason I had postponed surgery until now was because I was afraid it might fail... that was the only reason, but I heard Afternoon is famous for revision eye surgery. Being famous for revision surgery made me strongly feel that first surgeries must naturally be guaranteed successes... and sure enough, although my acquaintances all had theirs done at hospitals that were said to be famous, the reason they failed was because they went to factory-style clinics that rushed everything.
From consultation to design and surgery, the director personally handled the entire process,
and based on the design I wanted, they tailored it to suit the characteristics of my eyes.
Even after I entered the operating room, there was the delicacy of continuing to check once again...
Because I dislike swelling after surgery, I told them in advance that I wanted to proceed with local anesthesia, so it was done under local anesthesia.
Even during the surgery, the line was checked from time to time, and above all, there was no significant pain, so I did not regret choosing local anesthesia haha
By my standards, the swelling was only about 1 to 2 out of 10, which was very minimal, and I was worried that it would hurt a lot after the anesthesia wore off, but I do not know why I worried because there was no pain at all, and it just felt like my eyes were swollen from crying.
I was able to return to daily life right away, and aside from the stitches from the inner corner incision, if you exclude that, it was to the point that it would not matter at all even if I walked around without a hat...
I do not think it even took a full 10 days for all the swelling to go down. Even when I visited a week after surgery to have the stitches removed,
it did not hurt at all, so I was simply amazed...
Everyone, please do not go to factory-style clinics and fail, and go to Afternoon... Ah, for reference, I did not even take antibiotics and just applied the ointment roughly, but even when I close my eyes, there is no visible sign of surgery at all. Because of my uneven eyes, I always only took photos from one side or strained my eyes when taking pictures, but thank you for making it so I do not have to worry about that anymore.

+1It’s surprisingly only day 2 after surgery.
I had ptosis correction and full-face Fat Grafting together, so please keep in mind that I have a bit more swelling than with eyelid surgery alone.
I used to open my eyes with my Forehead, and my eyes are horizontally long,
so I wanted to go from looking like -_- to •_•.
The Suture method I had when I was younger had completely come undone, so I got ptosis correction with the Suture method again this time.
But can you see??? I don’t have any bruising at all..;;
Since I had Fat Grafting too, the swelling from my Forehead is coming down and making the Mongolian fold from the Epicanthoplasty stand out, so I’m not worried about that.
