Who needs neck wrinkle lifting?

Horizontal Neck Wrinkles

Long horizontal wrinkles on the neck are often caused by skin tissue and lifestyle habits in addition to aging. If the wrinkle grooves are not deep, they may be improved with laser treatments and similar procedures.

Neck Sagging

This occurs when the skin around the chin and neck stretches, leaving excess skin. The boundary between the neck and chin becomes less defined, making one appear older. This can be improved with a neck lift.

Vertical Neck Wrinkles

When the neck muscles and skin sag vertically, it indicates significant aging. It can be corrected with a neck lift or by suturing together the muscles sagging vertically on both sides.

Skin Elasticity Therapy + Laser

Because the neck has little subcutaneous fat, thin skin, and frequent movement, wrinkles can easily develop even in younger individuals. 01 Horizontal Wrinkle Neck Lift

As neck wrinkles worsen, the neck loses elasticity, and the skin and muscles sag along with horizontal wrinkles. If the diagnostic findings show deep horizontal wrinkles, a neck lift is likely to be performed. A neck lift involves making an incision behind the ear, where scars are less visible, followed by dissection and lifting and securing the sagging SMAS layer together with surrounding tissues. Excess skin is excised and sutured to improve neck firmness.

02 Vertical Wrinkle Neck Band Muscle Suturing

As aging progresses, the muscles from beneath the chin to the front of the neck may separate to both sides and sag. In this case, it can be improved with neck band muscle suturing surgery, which brings together and sutures the vertically elongated muscles.

03 Full-Face Facelift

In general, aging progresses throughout the entire face, and neck sagging and wrinkles are often accompanied by facial sagging; therefore, correcting them together with a facelift is effective. Because a facelift involves a wide area of dissection and carries a significant risk of nerve injury, special care is required. To support facial tissues in the required position

Hershe has independently developed Epiticon, a specialized medical suture. Epiticon is designed with bidirectional barbs, making it suitable for moving and securing facial or body tissues in the desired position. After facial fat is suctioned, the skin layer that had been stretched may sag without elasticity as the fat layer becomes thinner.
