Rhinoplasty Biological Tissues

Septal Cartilage

Septal cartilage inside the nose has an appropriate thickness and strength, making it suitable as a structural support for projecting the Nasal Tip.

Ear Cartilage

Cartilage from inside the ear is used for shaping the Nasal Bridge/Nasal Tip area.

Autologous Rib Cartilage

Cartilage is harvested from the end of the rib. Because it is strong, it can provide firmer support to build up the nose.

Donor Rib Cartilage

This is rib cartilage from another person that has been processed to prevent an immune response. It can be used conveniently because a separate harvesting procedure is not required.

Autologous Dermal Graft

This is autologous dermis harvested from the groin or tailbone area, used when the skin of the nasal dorsum is thin or when Soft Tissue of the nose is insufficient.

Autologous Fascia

A thin membrane surrounding the muscle; the temporalis fascia, located mainly in the scalp above the ear and temple area, is used.
