Implantable Contact Lens Surgery Procedure

❶ Before surgery, topical anesthetic eye drops are administered and the procedure begins.

❷ A very small incision, approximately 2–3 mm, is made at the peripheral cornea.

❸ The lens is placed into an injector and inserted through the incision, where it unfolds in front of the natural lens.

❹ All four haptics of the lens are secured between the iris and the natural lens.
