Knee Pain

From examination to treatment, performed by the director personally.

In Korea, the doctor performs the examination, the diagnosis and the treatment personally — none of it is handed off.

【What happens】

1. Pulse diagnosis (10 min) — the director reads your pulse by hand, then maps it organ by organ on the analyser. This is what decides where the needles go.

2. Acupuncture (20 min) — needles placed according to your condition; you rest while they are in.

3. Moxibustion and warming (10 min) — gentle heat around the treated points to finish.

【What it feels like】

The needles are about the thickness of a hair. Most people barely feel them go in. Once placed, you may feel a dull,

heavy or slightly aching sensation. In Korean medicine this is called deuk-gi (得氣) — a sign the needle has reached the right spot.

Afterwards — no marks are left. A small bruise appears occasionally and fades within two to three days.

You can walk out and continue your day as planned.

Please note — avoid alcohol and saunas for the rest of the day. Tell us at reception if you are pregnant or taking blood-thinning medication.

If this is your first visit, you begin with the Pulse Diagnosis & Constitution Assessment (99,000 KRW). What we do, and where, is decided from those results. There is no separate consultation fee.
