With a limited dissection range and without releasing all retaining ligaments, the downward pull on the skin remains, resulting in limited effects and short-lasting results. Symptoms such as pixie ear may occur, and scar widening can result.

POINT 01. Releasing retaining ligaments

The retaining ligaments that hold the skin and underlying tissues must be released to lift them to the desired position.

POINT 02. Fixation at three levels simultaneously

The three layers—the skin (epidermis), dermis, and SMAS layer—must be fixed simultaneously for a definitive lift.

Custom Facelift Surgical Method 

Hanaive's custom facelift considers each individual's characteristics, including the dissection range and areas with the greatest sagging. Rather than using a single surgical technique, it is tailored to the individual to provide more definitive effects and high satisfaction.

❶ An incision is made along the scalp/tragus line.

❷ The retaining ligaments are released, followed by SMAS and thorough dissection.

❸ The SMAS layer is lifted, repositioned, and secured.

❹ The skin and SMAS layer are sutured.

Custom Facelift Incision Method 

Hanaive's custom facelift incision method is performed using the most appropriate approach, considering the individual's sideburn position, skin elasticity, thickness, pore size, and other factors.

However, regardless of the method used, scarring should be minimal. If scars remain, thorough follow-up care is provided.
