All-Ceramic Crown
Allceramic
“Thanks to my All-Ceramic Crown, I can drink cold water freely without worrying about sensitivity.”

Unlike Dental Veneers, All-Ceramic Crowns are artificial teeth with a stronger treatment purpose.
The strength and excellent esthetics of Dental Veneers
All-Ceramic Crowns offer both the strength and excellent esthetics of Dental Veneers. The Star Dental Clinic uses only biocompatible wellness All-Ceramic Crowns.
Differences Between Dental Veneers and All-Ceramic Crowns
Compared with Dental Veneers, All-Ceramic Crowns are structurally stronger and withstand greater chewing forces. They can be applied more broadly than Dental Veneers for severely discolored or protruding teeth as an esthetic treatment.
Dental Veneers
✓ Procedure: (Primarily applied to the front surface of the teeth)
✓ Definition: A method in which approximately 0.3–0.6 mm of the tooth surface is minimally reduced, then a thin, artificial-nail-shaped ceramic shell (Dental Veneer) is fabricated and bonded.
✓ Tooth reduction: Minimal
✓ Purpose: Primarily esthetic
✓ Features: Can change the shape, form, and color of teeth in a short period; suitable for mild tooth irregularities or protrusion.
All-Ceramic Crown
✓ Procedure: (A procedure that covers the entire tooth)
✓ Definition: Covers the entire tooth using only tooth-colored ceramic; compared with Dental Veneers, an additional 0.3–0.4 mm of tooth reduction is required.
✓ Tooth reduction: Greater
✓ Purpose: Primarily therapeutic
✓ Features: Can change the shape, form, and color of teeth in a short period; because relatively more tooth reduction is required, Root Canal Treatment may be necessary.
Candidates for All-Ceramic Crown Treatment
Please confirm that you are a candidate before proceeding with All-Ceramic Crown treatment.

❶ When PFM replacement is needed for esthetic reasons such as discoloration
When replacement is needed because esthetics have declined due to previous PFM treatment involving a metal crown, or because tooth discoloration has progressed.
❷ When an esthetic crown treatment is desired
When crown treatment is needed due to Root Canal Treatment, etc., and esthetic concerns are present.
❸ When there are undersized or oversized teeth
When there are undersized or oversized teeth that are difficult to address with orthodontics or Dental Veneers.
❹ When a tooth is broken or chipped
Used as a method of esthetic improvement when teeth are uneven or irregularly shaped.

When a tooth is broken or chipped

When there are undersized or oversized teeth
An All-Ceramic Crown treatment involves shaping the tooth into a pillar-like form and covering it completely with an artificial tooth.
Because it is more treatment-oriented than esthetic, there should be no need for a second procedure.

First, check whether the clinic has advanced digital equipment and an in-house dental laboratory.

There is no need to fear the additional tooth reduction compared with Dental Veneers.
