01 Periareolar Incision

This method is used when breast volume is not excessively large. Because a circular incision is made around the areola, scarring is less noticeable.

Advantages

✓ Areola reduction can be performed simultaneously

Disadvantages

✓ Cannot achieve a large volume reduction (suitable for those requiring a small reduction)

02 Vertical Incision

This is the most commonly performed technique for moderate breast hypertrophy, involving a vertical incision of 4–5 cm below the areola.

Advantages

✓ Can reduce a substantial volume, providing a high corrective effect

✓ Smaller scar than the inverted-T method

Disadvantages

03 Inverted-T Incision
