My eyes had become increasingly droopy and smaller, so I finally had double eyelid surgery, which I had only been worrying about for a long time and could not bring myself to do. Although I had some bruising, I am truly very satisfied with the upper blepharoplasty and lower lateral canthoplasty from just the first week. It really feels like my eyes have become three to four times bigger vertically, below, and horizontally. Now that my eyes are bigger and there is no drooping, I really do look much younger.
