I had incisional revision double eyelid surgery to lower my crease line at 1 o’clock today! (a re-revision surgery) About 3 months ago, I wanted a higher crease line, so I had burial sutures plus upper epicanthoplasty and medial epicanthoplasty at another clinic, but my image changed a lot (especially because the front crease became much higher), which caused me a great deal of stress, so I went to many consultations about lowering the line. By chance, I found the café run by the director, and when I posted for an online consultation, he said it seemed possible to return to my previous image, so I came in for an in-person consultation. He was the only director who understood what I wanted, and during the café consultation he said it seemed I might need a double-line excision, but in person he said there was enough excess tissue, so we decided on an incisional procedure instead. I was worried it might go wrong again, so I posted several online consultations and had two in-person consultations as well, and I was very grateful that he answered so kindly every time.. What I considered when choosing a hospital was that the clinic where I had my revision surgery designed the line while keeping the mask on until the anesthesia went in after entering the operating room, and it was the kind of place that makes crease lines like a factory, so I excluded all hospitals that focused only on making pretty eyes. Afternoon was the only place where they took off the mask and looked at my overall image, and I liked that they focused on matching the eyes the patient wants rather than simply making pretty eyes He asked whether I wanted the line lowered or whether I wanted to return to my original image. When I said I wanted to return to my original image, he said that although my eyes were slightly sleepy-looking, we should not do ptosis correction. He said otherwise a third kind of eye would come out. For the surgery, he said there was about 4 mm of excess tissue, and that he would lower it by 2.5 mm. I had incisional crease-lowering surgery without ptosis correction, and I asked him to lower the front line a lot. Since the previous crease line was still slightly visible, I said I wanted it lowered to that same line, but he said it needed to be set a little lower than the previous line so that when I open my eyes it would look like the previous line, so I followed his advice. I already knew from the café that the director was kind, but he really was incredibly kind. The coordinator and the nurse? were all so wonderful too. However, the surgery was really difficult,, I think he had me sit up about 8 times to check the line, and it felt like it would end but never did,, By the end, maybe the anesthesia had worn off because it hurt, but they said if I got another anesthetic injection it would swell more, so I endured it as best I could! The recovery room bed was so warm, and the director came himself to explain everything, and they also gave me porridge, which was tasty? He said that to make it look like my original crease, it had to be set lower than what I wanted, so we set it a little lower than before. I am a little worried because after the surgery, the line with my eyes closed looks much lower, but it will not end up lower than my original eyes, right?? Still, I do not regret having the surgery. After raising the line, only my eyes became more glamorous, and it did not suit me.. I regretted it so much because my image had changed, so even though there is swelling, I feel relieved. I will remove the stitches and leave another review. I have had surgery 3 times, but I have never seen a hospital as kind as this one, so I ended up writing a very long post haha..
