I wanted to leave a review after the swelling had gone down to some extent, so I kept putting it off, and now I am writing this review after 3 weeks. Most people who are considering revision surgery at Afternoon say that the consultation was very good, but they are worried because there are not many reviews, so I will keep my personal remarks to a minimum and focus mainly on the surgery review. My eye condition before surgery 8 years ago, I had epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, eye fat removal, and incisional double eyelid surgery. The lines on both sides were uneven, it had been overcorrected, and in one eye the epicanthoplasty made the lacrimal caruncle overly visible. The inner double eyelid fold on the left eye had come undone. -> I wanted an in-out line, but I would also have been fine with an inline, and I wanted the line to be low. If possible, I did not want reversal. After consulting with the director, I decided to revise the line after excision without reversal. We did not touch the epicanthoplasty or the ptosis correction at all. Please keep this in mind when looking at the photos. Also, the photos are completely unedited plain photos taken with the basic camera. I could not take photos on the day of surgery because by the time I got home it was too swollen, but please note that I did not have bruising with pooled blood even once after the surgery. I did have some yellow bruising, but it was not very severe, and a little over 2 weeks later it seemed that all the bruising had disappeared. However, even until the 3rd week, the line area was especially painful when opening my right eye, and the pulling sensation continued, which was difficult. It was fine when my eye stayed open, but whenever I suddenly opened my eye, the wound area hurt a lotㅠ Still, as time passed, the pain gradually lessened, and now in the 4th week, there is almost no pain. I think it may have hurt more as the scar tissue contracted. At first I was worried because the line was thick, but as the swelling definitely went down, it became thinner! I believe it will go down even more with time. And because it was an excision, I was very worried about lagophthalmos and asked the director about it as well, but I was satisfied because my eyes close very well without any lagophthalmos. Compared to my first surgery, there was definitely less swelling and bruising. I hope this will be helpful to those who are worried because there is too much swelling right after surgery or who are considering whether to have surgery here. +) Actually, after the surgery, there were so many things I was worried about, so I asked the doctor a lot of questions on KakaoTalk, and I truly felt that my concerns were being sincerely eased, with no difference from before the surgery. In fact, as time passed, the pain improved and then disappeared, and the line and swelling are becoming prettier just as the doctor said. When I think back to my first surgery, I remember that after the surgery was over, they did not seem interested in me at all. So I think I can confidently recommend this place. This place is really good!!
