I visited six places just for medial canthal reconstruction consultations, and I ended up having it done at Afternoon Plastic Surgery, where I had my last consultation!! The consultation with the surgeon was great, of course, but I decided right away after talking with the patient coordinator! I was really worried it might look weird, so I was even debating not doing it until the day before, but thank goodness I did..ㅠㅠ During surgery, the surgeon checked with me on how much to close it and whether it would look too closed off, and I’m extremely happy with the result!!!! I had almost—basically—no pain after surgery!! I forgot to take photos before surgery, so I took them after the surgeon did the design lol. As you can see in the photo, a lot of the inner pink area was showing, and one side was redder and more exposed, so we closed that side a little more than the other! There was also a break in my under-eye fat, and that’s gone too!! lol. Everyone around me says it looks so much better!!! Some people even said I looked prettier without realizing I’d had eye surgery, probably because my glasses covered it lol. It’s only been two weeks, so I still need to take good care of it, but overall I’m extremely satisfied!!!!! I’ll be going in for scar treatment next week!!
